Favourite Words:
Tyson Bodnarchuk Postcards - He is one of my favourite illustrators, probably due to his recreations of Star Wars Characters, which is what influenced a lot of my drawings when i was younger. I really like this postcard, it is simple and just in black and white but uses both text and image which is relevent to this project. I love to draw monsters, but i have used them in a lot of the projects i have done recently and think maybe i should step away from my monsters! However, i would quite like the chance to develop some of my monstery ideas further in Illustrator as i still don't feel very confident on it and have only really used it once.
- Nervous Energy - awkwardness, a awkward situation, uncomfortable/ uncomfortable silences, public speaking, nervousness between strangers
- Fear - scared, the unknown, fear of stereotypes like the dark, monsters under the bed, death, spiders, phobias etc. Fear reminds me of Donnie Darko (two human emotions - Fear and Love)
- Femininity - Pastel colours, steretypical girlyness, flowing, floaty, detailed, flowers, sparkles, transgender
- Masculinity - Block, harsh, butch, broad shoulders, macho men, body builders, beer, knuckles, transgender
